Chef Sonya Coté has long been a staple of the Austin food scene. For years, she has brought some of the most exciting dining experiences to the Capitol City. Her impression can be seen at top establishments all over town, including: Hillside Farmacy (chef/owner), Eden East (chef/owner), The Homegrown Revival (co-founder) and East Side Showroom (opening chef, 2008-2011). She is a member of the prestigious Les Dames d’Escoffier and has been featured in local and national television and print for her part in the burgeoning food revolution.
Farmer BRAD STUFFLEBEAM "A pioneer of the local food movement in the Lone Star State" (Texas Agriculture Magazine) and 2012 recipient of the Houston Mayor's Award: Champion of Food Justice, has been a professional organic horticulturist in Texas since 1991, the past President of the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (TOFGA), current USDA Council Member of Southern SARE, Board Member for the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance and a full-time farmer in Washington County Texas.
Brad has been an educator and organizer for many of the largest organic farming events in Texas. Brad and his wife Jenny own HOMEsweetFARM serving their local community and the Houston area through a unique Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program and a Market in downtown Brenham. Featured in numerous articles and books, his enthusiasm and passion for local food has inspired others in their quest for real food.
